Mary Schneider is a multidisciplinary artist and ice cream enthusiast from South Philly. She holds a BFA from the Tyler School of Art & Architecture at Temple University. She has contributed to the Philadelphia arts community through her work with Fleisher Art Memorial, Main Line Art Center, and Mural Arts Philadelphia.

Mary was diagnosed with narcolepsy at age 34 and is now raising awareness through Project Sleep’s Rising Voices Program. She has shared her story with audiences at Saint Joseph’s University, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Harmony Biosciences, and The White House.

Presentation Description
Patient Advocate Mary Schneider was diagnosed with narcolepsy at age 34 after experiencing symptoms since childhood. In a vivid retelling, Mary candidly describes her life with narcolepsy and the events that led to her eventual diagnosis.
