Peter Allen has 25 years of critical care respiratory, sleep disorders and conference speaking experience. Peter has a BS in Respiratory Care from West Chester University and is currently enrolled in a Masters Degree in Health Care Quality and Safety program at the University of Pennsylvania.
Peter has served on the AAST Board of Directors, as Sleep Section Chair for the AARC, and as an exam consultant to the NBRC. In 2018, Peter was awarded Sleep Practitioner of the Year by the AARC. This past November, Peter was recognized as a Fellow, by the AAST for his many years of service to the sleep field.
Peter recently spent 14 years as a Clinical Coordinator for the Sleep Disorders Program at Main Line Health Systems.
Speaker will draw upon his current and past 30 years of employment experience in health care, to give our attendees his best advice. Peter will touch on perspectives from all career level points of view. Peter will be here all day, so attendees can reach out to him, regarding any current job/career-related concerns.
Attendee will learn to make up their “Employment/Job Survival Kit”.
Attendee will learn about outplacement resources and also networking skills that go beyond their computer keyboards.
Attendee will learn how to search for new opportunities in health care.
Attendee will better understand how to leverage our current job market.
